Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider (Vercel Inc.). Data collected in this context is processed on the host's servers. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of our online offering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the provider.
Server log files
When the website is accessed, technically necessary data is automatically recorded in server log files (e.g. shortened IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser type). This processing is necessary to provide and secure the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is deleted after a short period.
Contact and client form
If you contact us via a form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, message) solely to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or the initiation of a contractual relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Email delivery via Resend
To reliably deliver the messages submitted through our forms, we use the service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as a processor. In this context, personal data may be transferred to the USA. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and reliable email delivery (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); the transfer is based on appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
Data processing within the client relationship
Within a client relationship, we process your personal data to fulfil the tax advisory contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to comply with legal obligations. As tax advisors, we are bound by professional confidentiality (§ 57 StBerG). For digital collaboration we use DATEV applications; processing takes place in DATEV's certified data centres in Germany. The statutory retention periods apply (generally up to ten years).
Data protection officer
For data protection questions you can reach us at office@stb-hannemann.de. Where the legal requirements under § 38 BDSG are met, we have appointed a data protection officer whose contact details we will provide on request.
Cookies
Our website only uses technically necessary cookies required for the operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); no consent is required for these. Non-essential services (see “Google Maps”) are only loaded after your active consent. We store your cookie decision locally in your browser; you can change it at any time via the link in the footer.
Google Maps
On some pages (e.g. the location and region pages) we embed maps from Google Maps (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map is only loaded once you actively consent. When loading, your IP address and other data may be transmitted to Google and possibly transferred to third countries (USA). Retention period
We process and store your personal data only for as long as is necessary to achieve the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods. The data is deleted thereafter.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as a right to object to processing. You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is the Independent Centre for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD).
